Application: Extend your single-phase appliance tester to also test equipment with CEE connection (16 A, 3-pole and 16 A + 32 A, 5-pole), such as electrical devices, machines and extension cables, in compliance with standards.
CEE extension cables are tested on the plug and coupling side, so that in addition to the safety test (RPE, RISO), a complete functional test (continuity / cable break, short circuit and rotating field) of all conductors is carried out.
Tip: When testing electrical devices and machines with mains voltage-dependent switching elements (relays, contactors, power supply units, etc.), note that the passive substitute leakage current measurement method cannot be used.
=> Any insulation faults behind the switching element are not recognized!
The residual current transformer integrated in the BENNING MA 4 enables active testing of 3-phase test items under mains voltage and has the additional advantage that the test item does not have to be set up in isolation.

To ensure that the radiation meter does not lose its measurement result itself or damage components in a production workshop through an electric shock, the radiation meter can be grounded with the alligator clip included in the scope of delivery. The lasers on the radiation meter are used to optimally align the sensors.
In addition to the radiation measurement, the radiation meter can simultaneously measure the ambient temperature and humidity. For mobile use, the radiation meter is operated with a 9 V block battery. The maximum operating time for the radiation meter is 20 hours. The battery status display shows the current battery charge of the radiation meter.
